Metrological Subject Fields

One of the key tasks of BEV is to maintain the national standards (Etalons) for the realisation of the legal units of measurement within the manifold areas of metrology. The legal units are disseminated to users by calibration and verification of measuring instruments.
The regular participation in intercomparison measurements ensures the international equivalence of the measurement standards and the world-wide recognition of calibrations.
